Greg Pruitt and his wife have been in the building industry for over 15 years. In 2005, they opened up Rock-Crete Foam Insulators, Inc. At that time there was not one within 100 miles providing spray foam inside homes and businesses.

Electricity and gas was not real expensive at the time and the building industry along with the economy was booming. Greg likes to say, "We saw the hand writing on the wall." We could see that gas was beginning to go up and electricity was not far behind. After spending two months researching products, results expected and companies, Greg was fully convinced that spray foam was a leading edge market that he should be in. He contacted Demilec (USA) and became a pioneer in this industry. At that time no one in the Brazos Valley area had even heard of foam insulation or a sealed attic or sealed crawl space. In the early days, every person had to be really shown the benefits and explaining everything. Greg says, "We sure appreciate all the initial customers that had faith in what we were saying." Today, even though Greg, Bobby, Celeste or Paul are happy to explain all of the features and benefits of spray foam by Demilec (USA), they don't spend near the time they initially had to.

Rock-Crete Foam Insulators has so many satisfied customers; they do most of the selling. Most of our customers are happy to talk about the foam insulation and the cheaper electricity bills. They are happy to talk about quieter and more dust free environment to raise their families. Rock-Crete has serviced everywhere from Bryan, College Station, Caldwell, Huntsville, Navasota, Franklin, Normangee, Hempstead, Spring, Houston and all of its surrounding cities, and many more cities. They are willing to travel to your town to help you save money too! When it comes to savings, Rock-Crete can even guarantee it. On one 2,652 sq. ft. new home the energy analysis guaranteed the HVAC part of the bill to be no more that $65 per month for two years. They achieved this by putting on a separate meter to monitor electric usage for the HVAC system. After a full year of usage, the bill is averaging $42.22 per month. Greg says that most foam insulators cannot achieve these lower ratings simply because they refuse to do the caulking necessary to provide a completely sealed home. Rock-Crete's crews are trained to caulk every stud in the building and all studs that are ganged together. Most crews simply won't put in the effort and time to do the quality of work. Bobby likes to say, "Nearly any foam job is better than a fiberglass job but a foam job done right, will achive the figures we are talking about and we're talking about an additional 30-40% savings off of the energy portion of your bill."

Rock-Crete keeps advertising to inform the public of what foam insulation can do. We started out in 2005 when we began putting as much money as we could toward educating the public. To date we still do! There are other companies out there now that offer spray foam insulation but if you have heard about foam insultaion, it is probably because of some of the work or advertising that Rock-Crete has done in Bryan, College Station or in the surrounding Brazos Valley area. Rock-Crete remains a stalwart player in the industry. We have grown, now with two rigs on the road and three crews to supply your insulation needs. Our prices have stayed competitive and we are determined to remain the strongest player in the spray foam industry for this area.

We currently offer open cell foam, closed cell foam and pour in place foam. Rock-Crete spends most of its time working on the inside of structures but we alos do outside work on tanks and roofs.

For a company that prides itself on staying on the cutting edge of technology and innovation along with standing behind our products with a guarantee that the work will be preformed professionally, we stand ready to educate about the process and perform in a timely manner.

Foam Products

Rock-Crete Foam Insulators supplies the most popular and highest performing polyurethane spray foam. With Rock-Crete Foam Insulators all our products air seal & insulate in one application. No void or gaps between insulation and studs, excellent adhesion with a perfect fit every time. Our products do not sag, settle or deteriorate. All the products we offer outperforms loose fill insulation. With Rock-Crete Foam Insulators you are guaranteed a sealed home! Guaranteeing a sealed house is more than just applying the foam to the stud walls or rafters.  We first go in with a caulking crew. This crew preps the house by caulking not only the top and bottom plate but also the top and bottom and partially around every stud on the exterior walls of the house. Ganged studs are caulked between the joints. We are determined to provide you a sealed home, and first this reason, we do not follow the crowd, we create the standards! Any home foamed will out preform a home with fiberglass insulation, but a home that is spray foamed properly with the sealing that should be adhered to, will out perform the home that is just spray foamed and not caulked. We take pride in our work, and we take pride in the fact that our new homes perform at a level that sounds unbelievable, but our customers will testify to the quality of our work with the electricity or rather the lack of electricity used.

Metal buildings are some of the hottest buildings you can try to condition. Where a wood structure may have temperatures up to 140 degrees; a metal building builds up much more heat. The fiberglass insulation holds back the heat for a short while, but then it comes blazing through, making you have to use excessively large air conditioners with excessively large electric bills to try to compensate! There is a better way, and we have confirmed this time and again. If you want the metal building, we can make it better than a traditional structure from an air conditioning and heating standpoint. Foam Insulation stops the heat and cold transfer, and stops the air leaks associated with ALL metal buildings. When you use our foam, you can even reduce the amount of tonnage needed to heat and cool by a large percentage.

Hi, I am Greg Pruitt, and although there are many “Johnny come lately to the party”, we have been installing and informing our customers for years to the benefits of foam insulation. We have worked with builders, homeowners, cities, and air conditioner contractors and we have the experience to prove it! If you have an idea, we have probably already done a structure like it. Ask us, we are happy to help you have the least expensive energy bills of your life. We work with both new and existing structures and can show you how to save multiples of thousands of dollars in the coming years.

When Urda and Minnie Lincecum Of Normangee, decided to build again, they liked their old floor plan on the house they had previously sold. They turned to Mark Lincecum, their son, who had recently purchased Texan Auto parts in Normangee. Mark had experience with metal buildings, and suggested they use the same floor plan from a previous home, but instead use a metal building. I recently had the pleasure of seeing the completed house, and I must say, Mark should still be building metal buildings. As you drive up, the home is very pleasing to the eye on the outside, and when you walk in, you believe you are in a home that was built by a custom builder costing thousands more. When Mark Lincecum contacted Greg Pruitt at Rock-Crete Foam Insulators, he was considering using fiberglass insulation for his parents Barndominium., but he was curious about foam.

He was concerned about the heat transfer that fiberglass usually had. In other words, metal buildings are typically extremely hot. The last thing he wanted was a hot house and high electricity bills for his retired parents. He had heard many differing stories about foam insulation. We assured him we had done many homes like this. After talking with other foam insulators, Mark was convinced that Rock-Crete Foam Insulators, Inc. knew what they were talking about. Mark talked with owner Greg Pruitt and was impressed with his knowledge not just with foam, but of air conditioning also. He decided to take his advice concerning the tonnage. Mr. Linecum was considering 5-6 tons of air. “Greg assured me I would only need 3.5 tons of air, and although I was scared that would not be enough, I trusted that Mr. Pruitt knew what he was talking about.” To date, with the information provided by Greg, they are cooling the house most of the time on only 2 tons. (Greg will be glad to tell you how.)

We are so pleased with our barn/home/garage. We could not be happier. Our bills are ridiculously low, and we're more comfortable than we have been in any other home. Our bills on our 2700 sq. foot home and 2000 sq. foot shop/garage, have been around $100 per month. Needless to say, we have never had this low of a bill in any other house. The home we sold had the same floor plan, and even with it being only 3 years old, cost $300 per month to heat and cool. Greg's knowledge of foam and his knowledge of air conditioning have really paid off. We could not be more pleased. The job was done on time, and we are very proud of the smoothness of the application. Greg's guys really know what they are doing!

Ronnie Christian of Christian Wastewater Technologies expertise is in septic systems, and he prides himself in installing a superior system at an honest and bearable price. “Mr. Christian had also heard of metal buildings having issues with moisture in the roof. Greg assured me that even though that often happens with fiberglass and cellulose insulation, it does not happen with a properly installed foam roof. Greg told me that he is even called out many times to fix these problems caused by under insulating with poor quality materials, and then trying to condition the inside. I remember Greg saying “When hot meets cold, it condensates” “When foam is properly applied to the right thickness, this does not happen.” When Ronnie was asked why he chose Rock-Crete over other foam insulators, he did not hesitate. It was Greg’s superior knowledge of his product and how it would perform. He helped us understand the air conditioning, and we even used the HVAC contractor he recommended. We could not be happier with them either. “I guess the key on choosing Rock-Crete Foam Insulators is that he took the time to explain everything, and I remember asking how long it took for insulation to allow the heat to transfer to the interior of the building.

Greg said, fiberglass took 4.4 hours, but foam took 23.5 hours. He was knowledgeable, confident, and his crew did a beautiful job, and with foam, that is not always the case.

Greg, why do you think you have been so successful in this business? I have many years in the building industry and have always made it my business to understand the newer and usually better forms of building. When the foam came around I researched it and jumped in with both feet. We are going on seven years and we now have three rigs. In this business people often get in, and stay from 6 months to two years. It a tough business with high start up cost and a long learning curve. You have to be in it for the long haul. We have helped people with large custom homes and barndominiums like the two above, under mobile homes, on the roof of mobile homes, tanks, shops, and barns. Rock-Crete Foam Insulators is here for all of your foam insulation needs.

Greg Pruitt Owner of RocKCrete Foam Insulators, realized huge energy savings when he installed foam in his own two story home. Foam insulation is the only product that will solve the hot upstairs associated with all two story homes. The blessing is with all 2-story homes you have less roof deck and therefore a much lower price for foam insulation.

BARNDOMINIUMS, METAL BUILDINGS, SHOPS, ARE THEY ENERGY EFFICIENT?...NO!

But they can be says Greg Pruitt of Rock-Crete Foam Insulators.
